The City of Edinburgh Council are recruiting a Locality Facilities Technician based at Wester Hailes Education Centre.
The post is permanent and full-time working 36 hours per week, with a salary of £18,860.00 – £21,828.00 per year.
You will undertake day to day FM, janitorial and DIY operations across one or more buildings ranging from small repairs and general maintenance to reactive cleaning, supporting moves and conducting basic security functions, on a mobile, planned cover or trouble-shooting basis as required. To carry out in a facilities management area.
The working hours will be:
Week 1 – 07.00 – 15:00 Monday – Friday
Week 2 – 13:00 21:00 Monday to Friday
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
