With Kids are pleased to be able to announce their recent award from The National Lottery Community Fund!
The award, made possible by National Lottery players has allowed With Kids to increase their capacity to provide Play Therapy to some of Wester Hailes’ most vulnerable children and support families to support children’s mental health at home.
The National Lottery Community Fund, Scotland Chair, Kate Still said:
In these uncertain times our priority is to ensure that National Lottery money continues to flow to charities, voluntary sector organisations and grassroots groups . I would like to congratulate With Kids on their award, theirs is an important project and will support people now and in the future when they can physically come back together to make great things happen in their community.
This is part of With Kids’ wider project which aims to make community/school based therapeutic interventions and family support available as widely as possible by installing highly trained child therapists and family support workers in schools and vulnerable communities across Edinburgh.
