The City of Edinburgh Council is looking to fill several casual Facilities Assistant vacancies across the South West of Edinburgh.
There are various posts available, with a salary of £18,860 – £19,142 (pro-rata based on hours worked).
Successful candidates will carry out, in a facilities management area, day to day janitorial and DIY operations across one or more buildings ranging from small repairs and general maintenance to reactive cleaning, supporting moves and conducting basic security functions. Facilities Technicians provide, overall, an efficient and effective service in accordance with the Service Level Agreement, CEC policy and any prevailing general standards.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
