Police in Edinburgh are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Stuart Campbell, missing from Wester Hailes, and an increased police presence will be in the area searching for him.
The 36-year-old, who also has links to Oxgangs, was last seen in the Barn Park area of Wester Hailes, around 4pm on Tuesday 22 March 2022. He’s described as 5ft 10in tall, with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured jacket, green hooded top with white ties and grey jogging bottoms.
Chief Inspector Mark Hamilton, Area Commander for South West Edinburgh said:
Stuart has not contacted friends or family since he was last seen, and we don’t believe he has access to a mobile phone.
We are asking people in the local area to check garages, sheds, outhouses for any sign of Stuart and urge anyone who thinks they may have seen him since Tuesday 22 March 2022 to please get in touch with us.
We would also like people to check CCTV and dash-cam footage from the time he was last seen. Anyone with any information is urged to contact 101, quoting reference 1205 of 28 March 2022.
