Week of Action to Clean-up Wester Hailes

Everyone is encouraged to get involved in a Week of Action to help tidy up Wester Hailes next week, Monday 17th to Friday 21st October 2022.

The City of Edinburgh Council is working with a range of partners including Prospect, Places for People, Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and rescue Service on a community clean-up to clear up litter, clean away graffiti, remove dumped and unwanted items, and carry out some maintenance.

Each day there will a focus on a different neighbourhood, and local residents are very welcome to come and help litter pick in their own area, or across Wester Hailes. There will also be collection points for dumped items so that these can be removed from the area.
