Prospect Logo Digital Sentinel

Prospect Community Housing have released an update on their Planned Maintenance programme which currently includes painting, boiler replacements, and new kitchens.

As a community-based housing association we aim to provide good quality homes in attractive, safe environments and we put significant investment into our housing stock to ensure this. Our planned maintenance programme incorporates ongoing maintenance, required replacements, planned improvements and regular inspections/ testing.

Here is a copy of the update from their website:

Painting
Quarrybank Court, Quarrybank End and Quarrybank Close have now been completed. The painters have also been working in Morvenside and Morvenside Close. 6 and 8 Clovenstone Gardens have had their render repaired and have then been repainted. Work is ongoing on 10 and 12 Clovenstone Gardens.

Boilers
We will be replacing boilers at 12A Clovenstone Park as well as the solar thermal heating system. We are also replacing 42 combi boilers at Barn Park Crescent with the work due to finish in early December.

Kitchens
We are planning to install new kitchens at 12A Clovenstone Park after the boiler replacement has been completed.

Electrical Testing
We are planning to complete a 100 electrical inspections this year. We are required by Scottish Government to test all our properties every 5 years. This includes checking the fuse box as well as socket outlets and lighting circuits. As the work is mandatory, we do ask for tenants’ co-operation in giving access.

You can keep up to date with the Planned Maintenance programme for the year on Prospect’s website.
