A new Your Local Pantry, The Sunflower Pantry, will be opening in Clovenstone Community Centre.
The Sunflower Pantry will open on Tuesday 29th November to members. The pantry will be open every Tuesday from 9:30am-1:30pm. Membership is open to anyone living in the Wester Hailes area and costs £4.50 per shop, with one membership per household and one shop per week.
To use the pantry you will need to sign up to become a member at www.yourlocalpantry.co.uk and select ‘Edinburgh Sunflower Pantry’. For those that do not use internet you are welcome to head along and sign up when the pantry is open.
The pantry is a community food club instead of a food shop or food bank. The food they offer will vary from week to week but they aim to always have a selection of fresh, chilled and frozen.
