WHALE Arts has been hard at work getting their new café ‘The Pod Café’ ready to open fully. They have now released this latest update detailing the progress since their Soft Opening in November.
Throughout December we’ve been thrilled to open the doors of our café, The Pod, to our members, tenants, staff and workshop participants. The atmosphere has been fantastic, as we tried coffees, hot chocolates, sweet treats, and some new savoury recipes! A huge thanks goes to our in-house guinea pigs for letting us test things out on them. Keep an eye out in the New Year for when we will be opening and excited to welcome you all – we really can’t wait! Opening the cafe has been a fantastic journey and we couldn’t have done it without the following people;
We’re looking for volunteers to work in the café, for upskilling (keen to get people who want to learn/work/get experience are on a low income for example, so that they can get employment elsewhere)
