MSP for Edinburgh Pentlands Gordon Macdonald has released his latest newsletter covering January 2023.
The newsletter details the news that after years of campaigning by Gordon, Edinburgh Council will be able to purchase vacant Ministry of Defence homes, including those at Dreghorn. It encourages people to make sure they are not missing out on and of the 12 benefits administered by Social Security Scotland, 7 of which are only available in Scotland including the unique Scottish Child Payment. It has details on Pet Aid a scheme available to support people with pets who are struggling and his recent visits with representatives of Open University and to the Community Wellbeing Space established by the Community Wellbeing Collective at Westside Plaza.
