Police Scotland have revealed that in June the South West Initiative Team from Wester Hailes ran a two week operation focusing on proactive patrols targeting acquisitive crime and drug dealing.
The operation resulted in the arrest of 3 nominals heavily linked to drugs supply. Drugs worth £15100 and cash totalling £2710 were seized.
Weapons Recovered:
- 2 knives
- 1 wooden bat
- 15 Arrest Warrants were enforced for prominent nominals.
Along with the DVLA:
- 7 vehicles uplifted
- 6 vehicles clamped
- 3 warning notices issued
4 nominals have been positively identified in relation to disturbances involving weapons and enquiries are ongoing to arrest them.
