Wester Hailes library is currently closed for around 10 weeks to allow for essential maintenance works. During this period some library services will be available at the South West Locality Office including:
- Bus pass applications, renewals, and replacements
- Hearing Aid battery pick-ups
- Free period products
- Food waste bags
Services available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 10am to 1pm at the South West Locality Office.
Other library activities have been relocated to Sighthill library and Clovenstone Community Centre including:
- Knitting Group – Wednesdays 2pm at Sighthill Library
- Library Link Group – Fortnightly Tuesday mornings at Sighthill Library
- Coffee Mornings – Tuesdays 11am at Sighthill Library
- Lend and Mend Drop in – Mondays (excluding 12/8, 19/8, 9/9) 1.30pm-4.30pm at Sighthill Library
- Book Group – Last Friday of the month 11am at Sighthill Library
- Bookbug – Wednesdays 11am at Clovenstone Community Centre
