Wester Hailes Community Trust would like to invite everyone to a Harvest Festival out front of the Westside Plaza on Saturday, October 12, 2024, 12.00pm -3.00pm , an afternoon of seasonal community festivities.
Everything is free, and everyone is welcome to attend!

- Warm herbal tea and lavender sachet making by Grass Roots Remedies Co-op
- Creative play offerings for 0-5’s and their adults’ by the artists at Starcatchers Wester Hailes
- Interactive community art activities + arts for teens with WHALE Arts and Westside Art Base, + face painting!
- Swap shop by Open Heavens Edinburgh – OHE where you can swap your preloved clothing items for something new! Mens, womens, and childrens items on offer.
- The soft launch of the Wester Hailes Mobility Hub featuring info about tool borrowing from the The Edinburgh Tool Library, bike-curious cargo bike sessions from the Cargo Bike Movement team, SCOREscotland, and a community led workshop designing the interior of the mobility hub!
- Community information + lend and mend taster sessions with the Wester Hailes Library
- Community Wellbeing discussions + activities with the Community Wellbeing Collective
- Live music by the brilliant Big Noise Wester Hailes and Open Heavens Edinburgh – OHE
