Wester Hailes library has released an update on their ongoing closure stating that unfortunately more complex works have been required and that the library will be closed for longer.
Unfortunately during the planned works some building issues have been identified which require complex repair works, Wester Hailes Library will continue to be closed for December 2024 and an update will be given in January 2025.
We apologise for the inconvenience this causes and we wanted to thank all our customers for their continued patience while our building is getting ready for us to move back in. The Wester Hailes Team wishes everyone a lovely festive period and we cannot wait to be back in 2025!
Their replacement provision of services will continue with some small alterations for the festive period.
- The service at the South West Locality Office will not be available during wb 23 Dec or wb 30 Dec. This will resume on Monday 6 January.
- Bookbug will not be taking place at Clovenstone Community Centre on Wed 25 Dec or Wed 1 Jan, this will resume on Wednesday 8 Jan.
- Knitting group will not be taking place at Sighthill Library on Wed 25 Dec or Wed 1 Jan, this will resume on Wednesday 8 Jan.
