Space @ The Broomhouse Hub is recruiting a Youth participation Worker position working on their WOW (Wellbeing onto Work) Project.
The post is part-time working 14 hours per week split across two days, Tuesdays and Thursdays with a salary of £27,040, pro-rata. The post is temporary, funded until 30th April 2026.

We are looking for a new Youth Participation Worker who will work as part of a small team designing, planning, and delivering the Space Training Academy’s exciting Wellbeing Onto Work (WOW) Project.
The WOW Project works with young people aged 16 to 24 years old, supporting the transition between school and employment.
The Youth Participation Worker will offer group sessions and one-to-one support to help young people build on their skills and improve their confidence.
Sessions may take place at The Broomhouse Hub and in other outreach locations throughout Edinburgh.
Key tasks in the role will include:
- Create promotional material and network locally, recruiting suitable young people on to programme
- Plan and deliver WOW group sessions
- Meet with young people on one-to-one basis to deliver appropriate individual support
- Track and evaluate progress of project to demonstrate impact and inform funder reporting
- Maintain accurate, detailed records for each young person, including attendance and progress
- Stay abreast of local opportunities for young people, such as community groups, jobs, work placements, further education, and voluntary opportunities
- Source and commission external trainers/suppliers to deliver sessions where specialised knowledge/skills are required
- Support project volunteers
