Officers from South West Edinburgh have been deployed as part of Operation Easel this week in the Gorgie, Dalry and Wester Hailes area of Edinburgh.
Officers in plain clothes have assisted high visibility patrols to disrupt those involved in drug criminality and anti-social behaviour.
Between Monday 26th May and Thursday 29th May 2025, officers have carried out 11 arrests and seized 6 vehicles including e-bikes.
South West Edinburgh Local Area Commander Chief Inspector Niven Bull said:
Operation Easel has been instigated in response to feedback from the public and information provided by the public has been key to the success of this operation. Action like this is only possible with the continued support of our communities. Information will be listened to and will be used to help us take action on those involved in criminality. Our proactive work will continue to target such criminality.
