Autism Awareness week at Murrayburn primary School

Murrayburn Primary school have announced that their pupils will be learning about Autism Spectrum Disorder this week as part of Autism Awareness week.

Children will take part in special events detailing some of the challenges which affect people on the spectrum. The school would also like to invite parents and carers along to Language Class Willow on Tuesday 15 March and Thursday 17 March, 4.00pm – 5.00pm if they have any questions about Autism Spectrum Disorder.

This week at Murrayburn is Autism Awareness Week. The children will be learning about Autism Spectrum Disorder and some of the challenges this can present for people on the spectrum.

The children and staff will be participating in a number of activities across the week and we parents are being offered the opportunity to join in too. On Tuesday 15th and Thursday 17th from 4 – 5 pm, Language Class Willow will be open for parents to pop in to have a look around or speak to staff about Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is an informal session, there won’t be any presentations – just come anytime within the hour. We hope to see you there!
