Wester Hailes Community Council have been in touch at the start of a busy few weeks for them to remind local residents of some key events:
Election Hustings for South West- Wednesday 22nd April, 6.30- 8.30pm, WHALE Arts, 30 Westburn Grove.
Do you know who to vote for? Come along, listen and raise your questions to prospective MP’s.
Tea, coffee and refreshments will be available.
Wester Hailes Community Open Space – Saturday 25th April, 10am-4pm, at 75a Harvesters Way ( Open Heavens Church, the old ‘Greenway’)
The Open Space event is a great chance for anyone who lives, works, or has an interest in Wester Hailes to share what is important to them about the area, to agree actions, and a way forward.
Free food, childcare, language support and assisted transport are available. If you require transport or childcare please let us know when you register or get in touch before the event.
