Taking care of ourselves – Managing Change, Managing Stress is a 7 week course aimed at helping to handle change . Offered through Westerhaven 7 week course starting Wednesday 26 February 2014 10.30 -12.30.
The course will include some relaxation exercises, meditation techniques, information giving, aromatherapy and massage. The aim is to create a relaxed informal experience to help alleviate stress, anxiety and fatigue.
Relaxation tutor, Maggi Scott said:-“I will teach a range of relaxation, visualisation and mindfulness practices, along with identifying personal stress triggers and developing a personal stress management toolkit. I would love to see more people at the next class on 26 February!”
The Digital Sentinel met up with Maggi and some of the group of participants this morning just before they tried their first meditation.
