Today at WHEC the pupils were being coached on politics and encouraged to debate and later vote on the referendum question.
The event was organised by Pentland and South West Youth Forums and two Edinburgh councillors Gavin Barrie and Norma Austin-Hart, from either side of the independence debate, were present to hear what was being said.
The first half of the event took the form of information sharing. The facilitators explained what all the terms related to the referendum mean, and secondly who can vote on 18 September.
