While we were in the Westside Plaza today an elderly lady fell while getting on to the bottom of the escalator. She had a walking stick and a trolley on wheels and it appears that she simply tripped. She ended up upside down on the escalator steps, but the quick thinking plaza staff stopped the machinery and got her back on her feet pretty quickly.
Within a short while she was attended to by a first aider and then taken away for medical attention by paramedics.

And remember there is also a lift in the building if you have your hands full.
