Dove Transport will get you there

Dove_Bus1The Dove Centre which offers activities for the over 50s also operates Dove Transport – the number one community transport provider in the West of Edinburgh.

Dove Transport provides affordable community transport to local not-for-profit community organisations within the West of Edinburgh and surrounds. All buses are accessible for wheelchair users.

Dove Transport was established in April 2003 as part of an Urban Community Transport Initiative pilot scheme set up by the Scottish Executive. There are four partners involved in the scheme who provide community transport throughout Edinburgh. They are currently in our fifth year of funding and the project continues to grow.

Their fleet consists of three minibuses – two 15-seaters and one 7-seater – all of which are fully accessible. These buses are available for day or evening hires, seven days a week, with or without a driver.

Please note that they cannot hire to individuals. All hires are subject to availability. They also offer training for mini bus drivers.
