The closure of the West Edinburgh Times in 2008 meant a new home had to be found for its archive.
A blog (Hailesmatters) and Facebook page have become a live, online archive. The Facebook page now has over 2,700 likes with a wide range of residents and former residents sharing their memories of living in Wester Hailes over a changing history.
