Edinburgh set to change speed limits across the city

20 mph speed limit sign

After a recent consultation process the City of Edinburgh Council looks set to change many of the city’s residential streets to 20mph.

The new plan which has been updated after the consultation has been submitted to the Transport and Environment Committee for approval on 13 January 2015. The changes would see many of the residential streets around Wester Hailes changed to 20mph, as is already the case in Clovenstone and Harvesters.

You can find more information as well as a full map of the changes, on the Edinburgh Council website but the map is also embedded here for you to find out what the position is with your street.
