A new South West Edinburgh Basketball Club has been created by South West Edinburgh Community Sports Hub after a period of public consultation.
The plans are for the club to act as a youth club, increasing the number of people playing the sport and creating a new way for children to move into a local senior club. The club will begin with teams for under 10s and under 12s and will create older age categories as it develops.
The Wester Hailes team, the Wester Hailes Wasps will meet on Wednesdays, 4.00 – 5.00pm, from 20 April 2015 at WHEC, with sessions costing £1.
