Edinburgh and Lothians Greenspace Trust and the WHALE Arts Centre will be holding a planting session tomorrow, Friday 7 May 2015, 1.00 – 2.30pm at the WHALE Arts Centre.
The planting is the latest part of the creation of the WHALE’s new growing space with plans for the space to be full of edible plants, providing fresh food for the area in the future.
The planting session is open to everyone, with refreshments, tools and equipment being provided. The group will be planting a mixture of vegetable plants into the new raised beds. There will be seeds for people to take away and germinate if they wish.
