A collection of voluntary sector organisations met today at the WHALE Arts Centre for the South West Voluntary Sector Forum.
There were several local organisations there including, the Dove centre and Health all Round as well as representatives from Prospect, the Health Agency and the Community Council. Other organisations that cover a wider area were there too including Barnardos and the Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations’ Council (EVOC).
There was a presentation by Caroline Richards the Chair of South West and Pentlands Volutnary Sector Forum which detailed the work that has been done by voluntary groups while working with the Council as well as highlighted the Open Space event.
