Consultation for new Mural on Underpass Link

 

Underpass Mural link

A new exhibition has been created asking the community’s opinion on possible ideas for the design of a mural along the new Harvesters Link.

The Link will develop the current Underpass extending the path into car park providing disabled access to the Healthy Living Centre and creating a much better connection to Westside Plaza and the Library.

The exhibition is currently on display in the corridor of Wester Hailes Health Agency, just past the green reception in the Healthy Living Centre. The exhibition shows several possible ideas, five created by students from Edinburgh College of Art and one from a local resident, of how a completed mural could look. The exhibition welcomes members of the community to submit feedback outlining what parts of these ideas they like or even to submit their own ideas. Any feedback will be used as the basis for developing a final design which will hopefully be enjoyed by all the community, making the new link far more interesting and a nicer place to be.

The exhibition is open to the public and we would urge anyone interested to head along and have a look and let them know what you think.
