Time For Time Bank News

There’s been a lot happening at West Edinburgh Time Bank during August with a new skill being added to the time bank’s stock of available help, and a trip on one of the few sunny days there have been this summer!

West Edinburgh Time Bank has members who help each other in all sorts of ways with a range of tasks and support. This month British Sign Language has been added to the skills available with Agnes helping Morag through her introduction to BSL as a Time Bank swap.

Time Bank members are able to use some of the time credits they have accumulated to access trips that are organised as part of the Events Programme. They recently enjoyed a trip on the canal, travelling to Ratho on the Seagull Trusts barge in the sunshine. They are now planning their next trip which will be to the Royal Botanic Gardens.

More details and news can be found in the Time Bank’s August newsletter which you can see below.
