The Wester Hailes Community Council would like to invite everyone along to the official opening ceremony of the new Harvesters Link.
The event will take place on Tuesday 22 December 2015, 12.30pm, starting at the Link for a ribbon cutting before heading to the Healthy Living Centre for a visit to the Health Agency’s Garden Kitchen for some delicious food to mark the occasion. The event will also be attended by some of the politicians who represent the area.
The opening of Harvesters Link is a huge victory for the community as they have campaigned since the original underpass was sealed for the connection to be built. It not only makes it easier to travel from the Healthy Living Centre to the Plaza but also makes this access friendly to people with mobility issues.
