Wester Hailes is an area of Edinburgh which is rich in diversity, both with people and the many different languages spoken and read in the area.
FACT – It’s estimated that up to 7,000 different languages are spoken around the world. Over a million people converse in 150-200 languages and 46 languages have just a single speaker!
If you are able to write in another language and would like to share an article with us in your community language, then please get in contact with us.
This can be whatever you wish. Maybe you would like to share a funny story in Spanish, or a guide to reading the Arabic alphabet, or a poem in French, or even a recipe in Polish. The choice is yours! As long as you also provide the English translation so that others know what it says!
