Norma Allan, a former pupil of Murrayburn Primary School has announced that she will be publishing a book of poems about Sighthill and Murrayburn in the post-war period.
Topics in the book include street games in Sighthill, visits from the school nurse in Murrayburn and the Qualy Party. She will be holding a book launch soon at Central Library and would like to invite anyone interested to come along. This could be a great opportunity to get some insight into the local area before Wester Hailes was built! The exact dates are not set but she promises to update the school once she knows.
