Police Scotland have been conducting a number of enquiries following a collision in the Westside Plaza area of Murrayburn Road, and are now appealing for the public’s help.

Around 3.15pm on Saturday 2 April 2016, a 4-year-old boy was involved in a collision with a car. He sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

Officers are now eager to trace the driver of a silver-coloured vehicle, possibly a Kia or a Skoda, who may be able to help us establish the full circumstances surrounding this collision.

She provided assistance at the scene and conveyed the child and his parents to the hospital.

Anyone with information about this incident or the vehicle in question is urged to contact Edinburgh’s Road Policing Unit via 101.
