Policing 2026: Have Your Say

The Scottish Police Authority and Police Scotland have set out their vision for policing in Scotland over the next ten years and are asking for the public to give their views on the draft plan.

Policing 2026, which includes a commitment to increase frontline capabilities, including new civilian specialists in cyber-crime and mental health, is open for public consultation for the next ten weeks.

The strategy is a draft version. We are seeking your views and input to help us shape the final publication.

We want to meaningfully involve our communities, our staff and our stakeholders in the future delivery of policing services.

We are reaching out in a pro-active way, ensuring the broadest and most diverse range of recipients possible have the chance to inform and influence our final strategy.

You can read the draft strategy here as well as take part in the consultation online.
