This video is brilliant – pupils Clovenstone Primary in Wester Hailes sing their love of reading, to a famous tune.
The Scottish Attainment Challenge focuses on achieving equity in educational outcomes. Aiming to ensure every child has the same opportunity to succeed, with a particular focus on closing the poverty-related attainment gap.
The First Minister launched the Scottish Attainment Challenge in February 2015 and later during a speech in Wester Hailes, where she visited Clovenstone Primary School and WHEC, declared improving educational attainment for all children will be the driving ambition of the Scottish Government.
