The Broomhouse Centre has announced that they are currently looking for a part-time care assistant for their Beacon Club.
The post is part time, working 7 hours per week with a salary of £8.45 per hour. The closing date for applications is Monday 24 April 2017.
The Beacon Club offers day care to older people with dementia on Mondays and Thursdays in The Broomhouse Centre, and on Wednesdays in Juniper Green. Both groups are small – offering only 9 or 10 places per day.
An exciting opportunity for a part-time care assistant has arisen at the Beacon Club, based in the Balerno, Currie & Juniper Green area of Edinburgh. The Beacon Club offers day care for older people who suffer from dementia.
We are looking for a highly motivated, qualified and dynamic person with a good understanding of older people with dementia and the issues they face. Experience of working with and being able to engage directly with older people is required.
