The talented children and young people at The BIG Project will be holding their first musical theatre production The Wizard Of Oz on Thursday 1st & Friday 2nd June 2017 6.30pm at the BIG Project.
BIG Project Youth Theatre & The BIG Project Youth Choir have come together under the leadership of Director Rebecca Kilbey, Music Director Kim Edgar and the BIG Sing team, to engage over 38 children and young people, who have been working hard for the past 9 months to bring an uplifting and entertaining evening of drama and music to the families of Broomhouse.
Project Manager Sascha Macleod commented:
We’ve given children and young people at The BIG Project some amazing experiences since the project began 15 years ago, and it’s fantastic that we’re still able to devise new and exciting opportunities for our members, like putting on a musical with the continued support of Creative Scotland, Children In Need, The Gannochy Trust, and City Of Edinburgh Council and practical help from volunteers, parents, carers and the wider community. It’s great to give these talented, hard working children and young people the chance to shine!
