Edible Estates and Edinburgh Tool Library are happy to announce the launch of their next Little Free Library for children (LFL) at the Clovenstone Community Garden.
The LFL will be checked regularly to make sure it is always stocked up. The library was built by members of the Edinburgh Tool Library’s Tools4Life programme, teaching trade skills to young people looking for work.
It joins one already located at the Wee Soup Garden in Hailesland and the Healthy Living Centre. It is hoped the project will promote literacy and child development, compliment bookbug and council Library provision, promote book ownership for children, promote the sharing economy, enhance community ties.
