Wester Hailes Edible Estates have released a small update from their Wee Soup Garden, located in Hailesland next to Michael’s shop, and the services it provides.
We spent the afternoon weeding and tidying up The Wee Soup Garden today. Stacey took along some lentil and vegetable soup which was enjoyed by 7 local adults and The Little Free Library was also replenished with children books.
The space is looking great and included in the produce we are growing is broccoli, carrots, rosemary, beetroot and parsley. Edible Estates holds weekly gardening workshops every Friday 2.00pm – 4.00pm at the Wee Soup Garden offering free homemade hot soup to everyone who comes along.
