Local girl helps spread Christmas warmth with donation

Local girl Tilly Crozier helped spread some Christmas Cheer this year by making a donation of warm winter clothing to people facing homelessness in Edinburgh.

Three weeks ago seven year old Tilly, a pupil at Clovenstone Primary School, decided she wanted to make a difference this Christmas and help people who experiencing homelessness this Christmas.

Tilly’s Mum Stephanie Gilmour said:

She asked around her family and friends if they had any spare warm clothing they would be willing to donate and managed to collect seven bags of blankets and old jumpers as well as £140 which she used to buy hats, scarves, gloves and warm socks.

All donations were taken down to Bethany Christian Trust last Tuesday where they will be given out to the homeless through the care van.

I am extremely proud of her.
