The Westburn CANteen & Westburn CANteen Community Meal offers delicious home cooked food created with food harvested from the WHALE Community Garden every Friday at the WHALE Arts Centre.
The free cooking group runs from 11.00am-1.00pm for ages 18+. Learn to cook inexpensive healthy meals using food harvested from the garden. Create a meal for your friends and neighbours, meet new people and learn new skills.
The cooking classes are followed by a free Community Meal from 1.00pm-2.00pm, all ages are welcome to attend but children must be accompanied by a guardian. Enjoy a delicious meal using fresh produce grown, harvested and cooked by the local community.
