Prospect Community Housing invites their tenants to head along to their new Community room, located in Prospect’s Office to help get online.
In response to the changes in welfare benefits and the introduction of full service Universal Credit to Edinburgh later this year, we wanted to create a facility where our tenants could get help managing their online benefits. We are therefore delighted to announce that our brand new community room is now available for use. Tenants will be able to apply, check and update their benefits. There’s access to a printer for printing proof of income, wage slips etc. for housing benefit. And there’s an opportunity to job search and to keep up to date with universal credit journals.
Tenants can drop in for as long as they need during the following times:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays: 9.00am-1.00pm
Wednesdays – 1.00pm – 4.45pm (last new entry at 4pm)
If anyone needs a bit of extra support, there will be a staff member available at every Monday drop in session.
