Despite some rainy weather on Saturday, the Calders Fun Day went ahead and turned out to be a great success!
The event organised by Calders Residents Association takes place every year, inviting the people from the Calders to come together, celebrate the Summer with activities and games for all the family. This year the group invited other local organisations including WHALE Arts and Tasting Change to join in the fun.
Unfortunately the wet and windy weather prevented the usual bouncy castle, however there was still plenty for people to do with market stalls, sumo wrestling, the library bus, slime making, face painting, a barbecue and healthy, tasty salads from Tasting Change and Fork in the Road.
