The Open Heavens Church will be hosting a “swap n share” event with SCOREscotland on Saturday 9 March 2019, 11.00am to 2.00pm, at 75a Harvesters Way where local people will be able to swap unused household items like appliances, books and toys in perfect working condition with others.
Members can also pay a token amount for items of interest where they have no items to swap. This event is part of the Zero Waste Scotland ‘Pass it on’ week.
As part of the event, there will be
- An upcycling competition where Young people will participate in an upcycle/creativity concept event with prizes to be won.
- Dr Bike: Routine bicycle servicing will be provided. Reconditioned bikes will be available to buy at low costs.
