WHALE Arts has announced that a group of their staff, volunteers and members will be taking part in this years Fun Run, raising money to support their Adult programmes.
The Wester Hailes Fun Run / Walk is a 5k route round Wester Hailes. The WHALE Arts team and a group of our friends will be donning red WHALE t-shirts and making our way around the route at various speeds. Our goal is to make it to the finish line – however in 2018 the 1st woman back (Michelle Herron) and the 1st Veteran back (Billy Herron) were part of the WHALE team – we have a lot to live up to! This year we have decided to raise some funding for WHALE Arts Please consider supporting us.
Our target is £500. We will use this towards delivering our regular adult creative programmes which we run from the WHALE Arts Centre in Wester Hailes. We run a range of fun creative programmes for adults to improve or learn new arts skills, meet other people and have fun – these classes include visual art, craft, dance and poetry classes.

The Wester Hailes Fun Run 2019 will take place on Sunday 16 June 2019, 10.00am starting from Clovenstone Community Centre. Registration is open you can sign up online here or pick up a paper form from Prospect, Clovenstone Community Centre, the Health Agency, SCOREscotland or the Broomhouse Centre.
