Space, formerly the Broomhouse Centre, are recruiting for a number of jobs based at the new Broomhouse Hub, looking to fill cleaner, driver, counsellor and office manager positions.

Office Manager – Full time, 36 hours per week, £25,022-£26,110
We are looking for a skilled Office Manager to support the Chief Executive and staff to ensure the smooth running of this busy office. You must have amazing organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and juggle! If you are up for a challenge of working in a busy office and you’re a great team player, then we would love you to join us.
Counsellor – Part time, 12 hours per week, £25,022-£26,110 pro rata, 6 month fixed term
We are a charity based in Broomhouse, Edinburgh and we are looking for a counsellor who has a Diploma in Counselling and has experience of working with children and young people. The role is to provide counselling with children referred by our partnership secondary schools, other statutory bodies and internal services. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and is good at forming relationships with children and young people with a range of presentations, providing short and medium term counselling.
Driver – Part time, 20 hours per month (with the possibility of more), £9 Per Hour
The Broomhouse Centre trading as Space is a small registered Scottish charity based in South-West Edinburgh and has a Community Café which has been running for 18 years. Within the café we have an outside catering business, supplying buffets to clients in Edinburgh.We are looking for a flexible individual with a clean driving licence who would be willing to deliver buffets to our clients and also pick up items from local suppliers as and when required. Guaranteed 20 hours per month with the potential for more hours.
Cleaner and Duty Caretaker – Part Time, minimum 12 hours per week , £9 Per Hour
We are looking for a flexible individual who would be willing to clean our reception and events areas plus take on the role of duty caretaker when required ad hoc hours Monday -Saturday. Guaranteed 12 hours per week cleaning with the potential for more hours as a duty caretaker.
