WHALE Arts are looking to hire a short term Newspaper Distributor to deliver a paper copy of the Digital Sentinel to every home in Wester Hailes.
The post is short-term working one week from Monday 28th September to Friday 2nd October and pays £15 per hour, 7 hours each day for the 5 days.
Duties
Collect Newspapers from WHALE Arts Centre and distribute to every household in Wester Hailes
Ensure deliveries are made in line with current health and safety requirements of delivery drivers during COVID-19, using PPE equipment provided (dust-free gloves, approved masks) and adhering to 2-metre social distancing rules.
Deliveries will be checked in each neighbourhood and the distributor will be responsible completing missed deliveries.
Skills
- A valid, clean drivers Licence
- A road worthy car which you are insured to drive and has an MOT, if required
- A level of fitness as you will need to climb multiple stairs and carry bundles of newspapers. WHALE has no liability for any injury/health conditions incurred, contract at own risk.
