The City of Edinburgh Council are recruiting an Early Years Assistant Vacancy based at Clovenstone Primary School Nursery.
The post is Permanent working part-time, 18 hours per week during term time (39 weeks a year), with a salary of £18,860 – £19,142 (pro-rata for part-time).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Years Assistant, working 18 hours per week, within our Nursery at Clovenstone Primary School on the following days:
Wednesday – Part day (From 10.30am)
Thursday – Full day
Friday – Half day (morning)

Early Years Assistants are required to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council within 6 months of starting employment. They are also required to achieve an SCQF Level 2 Social Services for Children and Young People qualification within 5 years of being registered with the SSSC and this is funded by the early years service. There will be an opportunity for those who wish to progress to SCQF Level 3 to receive funding for this.
