Wester Hailes and Sighthill Libraries are teaming up to celebrate Bookbug Week with a special session and buggy walk.
The session will take place on Friday 20 May 2022, 10.45 am at the gym hall at Gate 55 with guest appearance by the life-size Bookbug mascot! You can book a ticket for each adult attending on their Eventbrite or call the library on 0131 529 5566 to book a space.
After the session: if it’s a dry day, everyone will go on a buggy walk together along the canal up to Hailes Quarry Park. There will be games and activities for families based on this year’s Bookbug Week theme: Bookbug’s Big Journey and picnic snacks to share together.
If you or your children have any special dietary requirements, you may want to bring some of your own snacks too.
