The 2022 Wester Hailes Fun Run/Walk made a triumphant return on Sunday, 12 June 2022, with over 100 people taking part.
The sun was shining for the first Fun Run since 2019 due to previous years having been cancelled because of the pandemic.
The event was a great success with people from all ages and abilities taking part and teams from SCOREscotland, Clovenstone Boxing Club and Harmeny Athletics Club. After a quick warm up led by Harmeny Athletics, they were off with some dogs even joining in with the fun.

The Fun Run Planning Group would like to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers and organisations that made yesterday’s event possible including Clovenstone Community Centre, Harmeny Athletics Club, City of Edinburgh Lions Club, Prospect Community Housing, Open Heavens Church, the Health Agency, City of Edinburgh Council, SCOREscotland, Wester Hailes Growing Communities, Wester Hailes Community Trust and the Broomhouse Centre.
