Lothian Buses September 2022 Changes

Lothian has announced they will be implementing a service change from Sunday 11 September 2022. They hope this will help to stabilise their network and ensure services meet the needs of customers.

This change will see some timetable changes and alterations to frequencies on some services.

As explained in recent weeks, Lothian – like many transport operators across the UK – has been impacted by ongoing recruitment issues which has affected service provision across our network. Our teams continue to work hard in this difficult climate to recruit and train new drivers so we can deliver reliable services for our customers.

We would like to thank everyone – customers and colleagues alike – for their patience and understanding.

The changes to local services include:

Service 3
No change

Service 21
Revised route and will now operate via Duke Street, Lochend Road, Lochend Avenue, Restalrig Road South and Sleigh Drive, with revised timetable as a result.

Service 30
No change.

Service 33
Following engagement with the local community, from its current terminus on Old Craighall Road, Service 33 will operate via Cocklerow Gardens and B6415. A revised timetable will be introduced on Monday – Friday and Saturday. See map below for more information.
